Continuing with the theme of parks, I have another cool park to recommend: The Highline (Park).
The High Line is a public park built on an historic freight rail line elevated above the streets on Manhattan’s West Side.
Although not high on the radar of the tourists, again I recommend this anyone visiting New York to visit this. It is very stroller friendly; with lifts at specific points of the park and very flat.
I highly recommend that you come in the morning when it’s cool and the dew is still fresh in the air.
You get to walk amongst the old and new buildings there making it truly New York experience!
You can find lots of activities that you can find the schedule on the website. There are contemporary art displays, movie screening (I think).
You can also get an elevated view of the New York city!
So by now, you realise that I am a park-loving baby. I love the colours, the air, the animals, the walk…. I hope you enjoy them as much as I do!
