When I go and return from Pyongyang Acrobats Theatre, I passed by a lot of unique buildings, see a lot children playing and people walking on the streets….

Cycling to work…

School children coming to the Circus Theatre to watch the Pyongyang Acrobats.

Very orderly. A Thai delegate ran to join them all in good fun and created a lot of laughter…

One of the many monuments along the way…

I saw at least 3 of these auntie groups waving flags in the morning. My guide says this is to ‘encourage’ each other….

Children’s Park

Another statue..

Science Centre? Disuse?

Another monument…

A poster at the end of the road, flats and trees on the sides….

Neoclassical cinema with a touch of Korean (notice the motif, the pillar, etc.) This was newly built by the way.

Wide roads with lots of cars… traffic jam? It’s possible when cars are slower because the streets are rather dim.

Bowling alley and recreation centre.

I think it’s a music hall?

Our hotel from afar….

Road under a building

Music Theatre

Cross a bridge

Anyone knows what the poster say?

Pyongyang on a rainy day (outside a subway station)

Spiral up or optical illusion

one of the many monuments around the city…

walking on the streets…

April is a good time to go because cherry blossom are everywhere!

Beautiful classic bus.. maybe they can change this into a tourist bus.

Children can be seen walking alone, even at night.

What does it say?

A different hotel…

One of the interesting housing complexes at Mirae Street…

Free housing for the scientists…

A cinema beside the hotel…

Flats, flats and more flats….

Train station…

Waiting for the tram…

Fancy Design…

Another optical illusion in the design…

Children crossing the bridge… (why I saying the obvious?)

Playing near our hotel…

Outside our theatre….

Enjoy the posters…
There are big sport halls dedicated individually to different sports like badminton, taekwondo, table tennis, etc.
