The Juche Tower (Tower of the Juche Ideology) is a monument in Pyongyang, named after the ideology of Juche introduced by, Kim Il-sung. This philosophy is the backbone of the country’s thinking to be self reliant.

There are Tribute Plaques at the opening of the tower from all over the world. I assume they probably donated money to put up names.

There are apparently 2 companies from Singapore….

The surrounding consists of more statues and a beautiful park.

Inside of the tower is a souvenir shop.

We were not allowed up the tower, which is puzzling because the Thai group in front of us just went up….
