Isn’t the dog adorable? 🐶

This unassuming mosque was just opposite our hotel at Grand Mercury Yu Garden (Yuyuan) in Shanghai. It is a little hidden and I saw it only after climbing the overhead bridge.

Having been to shanghai many times like to perform at the international magic festival, there’s always something new to explore.

I decided to look a look and realize the building is completed in 1343?!? Built in colonial style, it is definitely off the radar because it is not near and hidden from touristy area. 

Grand Mercury is great place to stay in Shanghai because:

👉 it’s 10-15min’s walk to Yuyuan where you can eat a your Nanxiang steam dumpling and visit the UNESCO cultural heritage site. 

👉 there is a toys wholesale building (rather old looking) in which you can buy cheap gifts in bulk. It is just located at the exit of Yuyuan station. The souvenirs shops near the garden are highly marked up. 

👉 the room are affordable and children will love the robot in which you can ask for help. (Go to my Instagram to see the robot)
