This is not a sponsored post, though I had free tickets to Kidz Amaze at Safra Toa Payoh. We got the tickets through an online Magic Competition, which our son won. He has been learning magic since he was about 5 years old since his dad is a magician.
Though we won 4 tickets: 2 adults and 2 children, the person-in-charge was very kind to change it into 4 Kids tickets for us. This was also verified over the email as well. However, when we arrived, this wasn’t the case. We didn’t want to make it difficult so we top up the difference since Kidz Amaze is probably the most affordable indoor playground you can find in Singapore.
Here’s our review on Safra Kidz Amaze.
We have been to all the Kidz Amaze in Singapore due to daddy’s work as a magician so here’s our thoughts. (though this trip is our first this year.)
MOST value-for-money indoor playground
Kidz Amaze at Safra is the MOST value-for-money indoor playground in Singapore. Looking at the chart below, if you were a Safra member, you pay only $10-12 to go into the playscape on a weekday. In the ‘worst case scenario’ for non-members, you only pay $20/pax for peak days! With the average entry rate for similar playscape for about $28 with a decent size, (eg. Polliwogs is $28 and Waka Waka is $25 on a weekend) Kidz Amaze definitely has one of the best rates in Singapore.

Lots of play area.
Kidz Amaze Toa Payoh at Safra is the pretty ‘big’ in terms of land area, and with its height definitely add a dimension to this playscape. I feel the total play area is similar to Waka Waka and Polliwog Suntec.
Of course, it dwarves in size comparing the recently opened Kiztopia and the recently closed SuperPark. Like most indoor playgrounds, the features are similar with tunnels, slides, bridges, etc. The most unique part of Kidz Amaze: The Cave, which has the foam-ball shooter and machines, is unfortunately closed due to COVID-19.
Kidz Amaze in Jurong Safra is also pretty big! Spread over 3 stories, it was just renovated last year with new equipment like the knitted playground which is seldom seen in Singapore.
Both have a lot to offer for the children to play.
Note: The Kidz Amaze at Safra Punggol is a water park.
This is our first indoor playground excursion since COVID-19, here are some tips for you to take note so your children can play in a safe environment.
Here are 5 Tips before going to Kidz Amaze.
1. Check out the promo.
A Safra member do have many perks from cheaper parking and of course cheaper tickets at Kidz Amaze. The membership rate of the Singapore population is quite high so I am sure you can find people, who are Safra members around you, for playdates.
If not, I think they are have loyalty card in which the 6th visit is free!
2. Go to the Indoor Playground on a weekday
Kidz Amaze has 3 outlets namely at SAFRA Jurong, SAFRA Punggol and SAFRA Toa Payoh. Weekdays are generally quieter and that was why my ticket was ‘given an upgrade’ from the 2 adults tickets to kids.
In fact, the person-in-charge asked me to go SAFRA Jurong because it is like ’empty’. Imagine having the whole playground to yourself!
We went to the Toa Payoh Kidz Amaze on a Monday; there were probably less than 15 patrons.
Pretty comfortable for that space.
3. Call to book the indoor playground first.

Kidz Amaze is obviously controlling the number of visitors per timeslot. To avoid disappointment, I highly suggest you book just in case. During the time we were there, there was a JC school group playing as well! (Apparently, teens like it too?) Luckily, it was not a big group.
The time plays are 1.5 hours each:
- 11-12:30pm (Weekends only)
- 1-2:30pm
- 3-4:30pm
- 5-6:30pm
The telephone numbers are:
- (SAFRA Jurong): 66864321/22
- (SAFRA Toa Payoh): 63554550/51
- (SAFRA Punggol): 65858710
4. Leave your baby at home.

Unfortunately, the Toddler’s Play Area and Ball Pit at Kidz Amaze are closed due to safe management measures so if you were to bring your baby, you would have to go to the main play area.
5. Bring Your Mask (and socks)

If your child is under 7 years old and exempted from wearing masks, I would suggest to bring one, just in case. Probably they may probably allowed to play without masks on, but as a parent, I prefer for them to have their masks on since social distancing is practically impossible in a playscape.
Children in Singapore are pretty used to it and I was surprised they could run and climb actively with their mask on continuously for 1.5hours!
I must say they were pretty tired at the end of 1.5 hours and I am sort of glad with time limit was being imposed.
The positive comments and do well wishes are very motivational and greatly appreciated. indoor playground Singapore
